I'm not interested in future home and away series with Tulane. But talkin' jaw-jaw about playing them on the road while you host McNeese St. and Chippewa isn't coming from a position of strength.

Big 12 teams do some weird shite like this.
Baylor played at ULM a few years back
Oklahoma State played at UL Lafayette around 2011
Oklahoma played at UTEP in 2012
Texas played at UTEP in 2008

Playing panty waist teams only on your home field, ripping off your season ticket holders, is horseshite. What do you not get about that?
It’s still a home game that I get to tailgate for, enjoy all the pomp and pageantry of the tea and venue of the team I support.
My school makes money, a frick ton of which is donated back to the academic side of the university I graduated from.
It supports the grocery stores, bars, restaurants, and business around the campus I called home for the duration of 2 degrees.
Is it regionally selfish? Yes. Is it lopsidedly beneficial to my school? Yes.

How many hundreds or thousands of dollars do you spend on season tickets to watch your team rip apart McNeese State and central michigan?
Less than. Few hundred total for that whole game.

And the fact that central michigan is a "small school in the midwest" isn't a counter-point.
You asked who they were. I was explaining it to you.

The Chippewas? That's even worse than Tulane.
Actually they are much better than Tulane.

Not gonna bs on this one… The fact that we did a home/home with Tulane is a little ridiculous. You pay those schools to come to your place and send them packing with a limp. It’s like an ugly fuk buddy. You never go to her, she comes to you and leaves when you’re done with her.
This guy gets it

Tulane was 6-6 last year. Chippewa was 3-3. Try again.

It’s not about playing shitty small time programs. It’s about giving up a home game to go play the shitty small time programs.

So the EXACT same winning % is now worse? Are you the dumbest sooner fan alive?

State did a 2-1 with UMASS and the cool thing about it was our road game was at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro.
My wife and I had an incredible time. The Patriots palace is a jewel plus it was awesome for the players to play a game in a NFL venue.
State also played ULL in the Superdome to open the 2019 season. We had a great Labor Day weekend in NOLA.
So the 2 for 1’s can be a win win for the team and the fans.
For Okie, it will make for a great Labor Day weekend trip.

You're the one who said mighty Chippewa was "much better" than Tulane. Not me.

Maybe to get some more exposure in Louisiana for future recruiting?
You weren’t thinking about that 10 years ago when this was scheduled.

No but players in Louisiana being recruited by OU can drive easily on their own dime and see them in person and they generally come with teammates and family to games. This happens all the time with high school recruits. Also, it’s fun for the fans to be in NOLA for Labor Day weekend.

Oklahoma is weak as shite.
Of course, and Auburn is playing not “weak as shite” teams like Akron and Georgia state. ??

CMU 50.96% winning percentage last 10 years
Tulane 40.18% winning percentage last 10 years

Are any of those games at Mercer or Mcneese St?
Blue bloods don’t lower themselves to playing at these schools.

At Mercer?
I know this seems difficult for you to understand, but they’re still playing a glorified high school team. It doesn’t matter where you play said high school team. The fact is you’re scheduling them. Holy fricking shite.

Is it worse or not to play them at their place as opposed to your own?
