They were the only sec team in Texas. AM has never been that good - name last football natty or conference championship.

Good point. And by not doing so, he left him for the Gators to hire. Make that 3 SEC teams he demolished.

LSU is lucky not to have Florida’s schedule too.

He produced a heisman trophy qb last year ya know. Hardly a failure

So Heisman trophies are the standard now at LSU as opposed to winning championships. Gotcha. I'll take winning games and championships over Heismans anytime. A Heisman trophy is just the cherry on top. LSU can have it every year. I'll take championships.

I know, but A&M isn’t a powerhouse.

For all of this type of talk, Alabama's last natty is only a year removed from LSU's.

I know it’s fun to crap on LSU and CBK, but if you would have asked Tiger fans in 2012 if they would take 2 Heisman QBs an undefeated National Championship season. Then fall apart for a few years I think all of us would take it.

Remove Georgia and Alabama from the discussion and what school wouldn’t trade recent histories with LSU?

At this point, I just want to know who read the first post in the voice of the 30 for 30 narrator. I know I did.

I’m sure this whole 30 for 30 thought was a grand slam in your head but in reality it’s just pure shite. If there was a 30 for 30 about Woodward it would be a story of how he got two enormously successful coaches to join his staff. It’s very delusional of you to make up some crap about them being a failure when indeed it’s the opposite.
Not trying to be rude but someone has to tell you like it is.

All signs point to our next being a lot closer than yours.

It seems pretty popular actually. Well, with everyone but LSU fans. But they have been cranky since Sunday for some reason. I hear one got so mad he slammed his fist down on a table and almost killed Dasani.

Not sure that's relevant.

Do you think Bama loses to USC? I don't.

Irregardless, a loss is a loss.

Alabama has won a lot of season openers.

However, their last natty is only a year removed from LSU's.

He had a Heisman winning quarterback and two first round wide receivers. Even the defense had three players drafted. With all that talent LSU finished third in their division.

Good point but average each team's seasons from 2019 to 2023 and put them against each other.

Is it close, I wonder?

Maybe schedule Western Montana State then if he can’t win an opener
