I remember Hershel's first game against UT diving over the line of scrimmage to score the winning TD as a freshman. Started the run.

In. But why the arbitrary year 1980? Did something happen? My memory is fuzzy.

I was alive, but not quite old enough to remember that season.

I was 8. Remember watching the game with my dad. Also remember the season. Herschel was a force to be reckoned with.

Six years after I was born.

I have never seen a major title for Georgia in my lifetime.

That...is an amazing feeling. Long live the drought!

I... actually wasn't. That incident took place about a year and a half before I was born.

Alive in 1980? Hell, I was sitting in the student section at Florida Field in ‘79 when The Bear beat the holy frick out of Pell and the Gators 40-0, wearing my Bama shite and drinking cheap whiskey out of my cheap flask.

Good times. And this Saban era blows that all away. Unbelievable.
