In a world where coaches are selfish and only in it for the money, Sam Pittman is a beacon of light. When he says this is the last job he's going to have, he means it.

When he says he's blessed to be the coach at Arkansas he means it. He's not just a coach, he's a fan of the Razorbacks. And if you're not a Razorback then you just don't get it.

There's a reason these kids are running through brick walls for him. There's a reason no one who has played for him or worked with him has a single negative thing to say about him.

He's not going anywhere. I would like to see him win a natty after we win a few first.

The worry isn't losing Pittman. It's whether he can continue to hire top shelf assistant coaches. He isn't going to be calling plays anytime soon.

As an LSU fan, I never want to go back to the CEO coaching model.

Since Frank Broyles retired, the only coach I remember leaving on their own for another job was Ken Hatfield because he was catching grief over his flex bone offense.

The rest have been fired or run off.

We aren't a stepping stone school. That's one good reason not to hire a coach like Kiffin, he has happy feet.

Sam is home.

You seem to think the man doesn’t have a grasp of X’s and O’s He does and he knows he has a job to do first and foremost. He has a stable personal life and stays grounded. He will not hire a bad coach and whatever turnover he has with the staff, he will have quality people wanting the job.

So he's already there. Doubt he will leave then. Not to mention, he strikes me as a loyal type. Arkansas took a big risk hiring him (being just an OL coach) and I'm sure that's not gone unnoticed.

He's stated in multiple interviews, he grew up 80 miles from Fayetteville. He loves the school. He also just built a new lake house in Hot Springs, AR. After he's done here, he is retiring there.

It's refreshing to see a guy who wants to coach and influence young men and is not always looking for the next gig. He's unique in that regard and I admit I underestimated him. I think he is where he wants to be and this is his final stop.

I don’t believe Pittman would leave Arky.

They gave him the opportunity he has wanted for a long time, a head football coach. I believe as long as the program is competitive he remain at Arky.
