31-25 record did not help. Two losses to Georgia Tech did not help. SOS was good. RPI was solid.

But somewhere along the way you have to win games. 31-25 just not quite there.

I know they had some unfortunate injuries to their pitching staff as well.

But at the end of the day as Al Davis would say “just win baby.” They did not win enough.

Our 2018 team that finished 3rd in the CWS finished the regular season 31-25.

But 27-25 was enough for UNC?

You lost a series to A&M. We are terrible this year. That should be an automatic DQ.

That is true but we also finished 15-15 in the SEC with a sweep of Florida to end the regular season. Plus I think the committee recognized that the beginning of the season was rough with AC resigning and the fall out from that.

So context comes into consideration.

So while the overall records were similar there were a lot differences as well.

Not nobody. But the Auburn disdain is understood. I didn’t like my daddy when he whipped my arse either.

Our season was a roller coaster ride with more lows than highs. Had we broke even in the SEC we might have made it even then we weren't at our best at the end of the season.

I mean all year their “Power ranking” and “Eye test” and uh “Committee”

Paul Mainieri cried real tears and somehow the committee thought he was legend enough to get a gift. Guy is an affront to Skip Bertman's legacy.

Same reason we got screwed during football season.
When humans make the choices, the results are often flawed.

Should have been. Committee didn't want 10 SEC teams. Shortsighted.
