While I like corn, I love me some catfish

Biked across the state of Iowa in a bike ride known as RAGBRAI. The ride went through bigger towns like Iowa City, Ames, Davenport, and several smaller cities (cant remember their names at the top of my head). So I sampled a wide range of Iowa towns and cities. That being said Iowa shits on Mississippi in pretty much every way imaginable. The people are incredibly nice and generous, the roads are paved and sidewalks are plentiful and kept up, every small rural town had a pub, and many other factors. The most glaring feature of Iowa that I appreciated was the cleanliness of the towns in roadways. It is embarrassing the amount of litter and trash that Mississippi has on its roadways and cities. For a state that prides themselves on the outdoors, you have every single Billy and Earl throwing out their Natty Light box out on the side of a county road or tossing opened trash bags in the back of a pick up that eventually flys out when you do 85 on the highway. I can overlook a lot but "Litter bugs me."


ETA: Iowa women are ugly as hell and the accents are beyond annoying and painful to listen to. Had to put in some negatives to balance things out a little bit.

I agree with the accent part. For some reason that Midwestern accent is so much worse on women than on men.

On average Midwestern women are a bit homely, definitely not as hot as southern women. But the hot women they do have tend to be tall, blonde, blue-eyed model types, so there's that. They don't have as many fatties, or trashy skanks either.
