Media talking heads have looked into last year's A&M team and realize that 'Bama and Auburn were very lucky to win--could've easily went A&M's way. Manziel injuries explain Mizzou and LSU. Sumlin remains an Offensive genius, and Defensive ranking improvement from 100 to 60 should be enough for 9 wins this year.

15-25 is usually just name and recent pedigree in the preseason. With a 4 team playoff, win the SEC and you're in. It doesn't really matter where any SEC team is ranked in the preseason.

TCU's QB left A&M because he would have been third string, and their best and only good defender just got kicked off the team.
