Huh? So a 12-1 UGA team that just beat LSU would be ranked behind a 12-1 LSU team?
I think if everything else plays out, you would see #1 OSU, #2 UGA (based on strength of schedule), #3 Clemson, #4 LSU.
Or OSU, Clem, UGA, LSU

no one knows how good Georgia is - we will after they finish the season and the SEC championship game. good defense and potential on offense. I don't think they can score with the top teams, though. Fromm is good enough - he just doesn't have enough receivers.

Check out Minnesota' schedule. Not good, not good at all, and their winning
Margin was even less impressive. They had a sky high game at home against PS, but they'll come back down to earth the next two weeks, maybe at iowa this week but against Wisconsin in two weeks

I mean they beat a top ten Florida. Will have to beat a top 15 Auburn and a top 3 LSU to get into the playoffs...I'd think that deserves a spot.

We're seeing no signs of intelligent life from some of the Bayou this week. Only thought they can muster up is "Joey B good, everyone else bad".

If UGA beat LSU in the SECC they’d be a higher seed than LSU and LSU would be questionable at 4 if Oregon and OU won out. I don’t see UGA beating LSU in the SECC, so it’s a moot point.

Georgia has more victories over ranked teams than Alabama and Clemson. Georgia has played 2 teams ranked in the top 10. The resume will be good enough to get into the CFP with a SEC championship as 12-1. If Clemson loses 1 game and then wins the ACC championship, who looks better?

Yes, of course they will, and they will will most likely be 2nd ranked.... Clemson is still a mystery. They definitely have as talented a team as any in the country, but they are playing lackadaisically this year, probably because they have no competition.. The last two weeks they look like they are hitting their stride...AND THEY SCARE ME. Still, IF Georgia win out, and so does Clemson, I'd go with Ga. in the 2nd slot because of superior competition.

I agree. Uga still has the worst loss of anyone in contention. Bad loss should mean more than a bad win.
