Def not a good look for James to appear at games looking out of shape clearly signaling he wants out, the Morey-D'Antoni-James-CP3 squad should've won at least ONE title of those two seasons, their rotation was excellent just got derailed by some bad breaks and performances at the most crucial times, tbt doesn't surprise me it happened since D'ANTONI ALL-TIME PLAYOFF CHOKER (and ended Kobe's prime and basically career) coached that team  major doubts about the Rockets' ability to make the West Playoffs this season

We are talking about a guy that has a chance to be the All-time leading scorer in NBA history and scoring is not his best attribute.
Actually his best attributes are both scoring and passing, you don't average 27 PPG over the course of a career and get labeled "pass-first" he's like Bird, they blended their scoring and passing so well that you can't label them one or the other

He's not the defender he once was, more a free safety, hard to argue the longevity in production doesn't derive from years playing in a less physical era for the NBA and the load management of today's stars not to mention chartered planes and the best training/medicine alive cough HGH cough

Why can't they just repeat what they did this year and surround their two superstar studs with the quality supporting players that complimented them so well? I mean hey it WON THEM THE CHAMPIONSHIP. All you really need in basketball to win championships is two top studs and the right mix of depth and role players, if you're lucky like the Bad Boy Pistons you have literally everything. This superteam crap gotta stop.

Quite The Contrast from Michael Jordan’s final shot in Utah and the mark he left by building the league.
Yeah I heard the rating for those Finals wayyyy exceeded this year's which is insane considering the size of the population and means by which to consume the Finals then compared to today. Now the NBA will probably blame the sports competition they contended with this fall as why they performed that poorly but that's as bad an argument to use as their political talk being the reason because that means their product was poor and NO ONE with business sense would EVER admit that unless they wanted to declare Chapter 11. Catch-22 for these fools. :moon:

re: Anybody use the NBC Sports app for “the most in-depth NFL analysis”?
Posted by SoulBrotha91 on 10/11/20 at 11:27 pm

Just saw a commercial for it and they mention the above-mentioned analysis while showing their “expert” (Chris Simms I believe) say “Aaron Rodgers, what he did last night, that was video game stuff...”
Immediately after that we hear “I’ve seen the Patriots play Patrick Mahomes multiple times, and I don’t know how you stop him...”
If this is the sort of expert in-depth analysis they show in the commercials, imagine how in-depth and amazing the analysis is once you’re on the app! I’m sure they are dropping dimes of wisdom talking about white players and their “nonstop motors” or linemen “bringing their lunch pail.”
Incredibly valuable info. Does anybody partake in this elite sports commentary?

81 points in 56 shots?
Would've scored 100+ had he played in the early 60s and yes the no three-point line was factored to offer that theory

6/24 in Game 7
you forget he registered 15 rebounds (11 defensive) and shot 15 free throws (making 11) that game? A player can positively impact a game for his team by more than simple FG%. :rotflmao:

Ehhhh unless you're an absolutely transcendent coach, of which there are very few in NBA history, coaches are interchangeable and don't matter as much as we think I mean hell Bill Russell won back to back championships as a PLAYER-COACH

He played the Heat and Nuggets ok? not exactly murderers row, got lucky with the Bucks and Clippers choking early

THE DEBATE IS OVER GOAT!!!
Has LeBron won 2 threepeats while functioning as the best offensive/defensive player in the league? Did he not leave anything on the table when it came to the Finals? Did he not quit on teams at any point in his career? If the answer to all of those questions are "no" then he isn't the GOAT. He's at best top 3 all-time now which isn't bad.

Who determined this? It's an impressive accomplishment no doubt but lots of accomplishments are impressive, given the current massive amount of player movement per free agency, the perception of that accomplishment might be skewed
