You have no idea but none of this will happen.
Bama's OL is a lot better at zone blocking in the run game and I'm assuming with Mizzou's stout DL, they will also tailor some boots and roll outs to get Sims more space/time. I'm not sure how the rotation is for Mizz or depth, but that is gonna be the key
The match-up I'm most worried about is Mizzou's WR corps against Bama's secondary

Sims is awesome... he's just the most scrutinized QB out there... Top 5 in the country but nobody will openly admit it. Completes a high percentage of his passes is dangerous when he get's outside of the pocket and more than Cooper has caught his passes.. no one has realized that yet..
Bama would not be where they are without the direct play of Blake Sims. he's engineered clutch drive after clutch drive... like no one we've ever had but, still he's scrutinized to the nth degree lots of Bama fans were yelling for Coker...
Blake is the best QB in the league so he's good enough to be concerned about... if, that is your question.

Mizzou's ends are going to wear down chasing Blake around this weekend. I see him getting at least 60 yards rushing to go along with about 350 yards passing.
Sims will have a long day against Mizzou. People still just don't know shite about them. Unless Bama can pound Mizzou into submission (which I haven't seen them do this year) this will be a very low scoring game.

He is clutch. Has a few bad throws but he knows how to put it together when the game is on the line. Very decent college QB.

He's good at throwing the ball to Amari Cooper, which means he's exactly what Alabama need.

Possibly the worst QB at running a read.

Mizzou runs 8-9 deep on the Dline. That is why they typically don't wear down as the game goes on, but instead get more pressure and push.
Ends: Ray & Golden; Harris & Loud
DTs: Vincent & Hoch; Brantley & Augusta
You will also see Hatley in there every once in a while.

Unless Mizzou has WRs comparable to Auburn's I wouldn't be too concerned. Eddie Jackson either was never that quick or isn't fully healed from the ACL injury. Anyway, I thought Sylve did a good job and he's plenty fast.

Do you guys "mush rush" with your DL?
Saban uses a technique against mobile qbs designed to bottle them up in the pocket and prevent them from running.

Nobody hates him that I have seen so I'm not sure what you are talking about.
Only Saban knows how close he was to pulling Sims but I felt if Coker went in it would be game over for Bama.
Saban had Coker warming up on the sidelines after Sims' third INT. Had Sims stalled out on the next drive, it seems likely Coker would have gotten his shot. And possibly won. He was very shaky starting in the WC game, but got exponentially better as he settled in.

I seriously hope this doesn't happen; I want Sims to stand still and take his arse whooping like a man

The rotation is constant.

What worries me is our own missteps; penalties, dropped passes, "bad" Maty showing up. Bama doesn't need any help.

Really good.

He has good physical abilities and can make big throws/runs, but he's also kind of iffy when it comes to running the offense.

Hasn't yet, but I believe he'll make the mistake that costs them the ship...

Per Bama fans he's the #2 QB in the country.

How Good Is Blake Sims?
Average QB that makes his living off Cooper.
Did you see that awesome block Cooper threw on Blake's big 4th quarter TD run to take the lead?
Neither did I.

If you can somehow cover Cooper like Arky, LSU, and OM, Sims can kill you with his feet.
fify.

Has anybody really knocked the shite out of him?
If so, how's re responded?
Dobbs and the other GOAT quarterbacks Mizzou's faced did not respond well.

Sometimes he's atrocious
Sometimes he's fantastic
He's never just ok
