If Perkins come back on D, and Stephenson on O...We'll be where we want to be.

Lincoln seems to like exiting the playoff in the first round.

I guess its a good tuneup game for whoever you play

I know LSU certainly enjoyed it.

Lsu just sucks. Sorry not sorry

I’m sure Bama would be great losing 22 starters. Florida lost 8 but still had a senior heisman candidate at QB and still got steamrolled.....

50's era Oklahoma would hold their head in shame at their school cheering at beating a practice squad. Sad, really.

This is a season of practice and practice squads. It is sad for anyone to beat their chest about this season.

yes. LSU had their quintessential , token , random single good year. Because of Burrow. Nearly every team will experience that one time high, eventually. In fact, Burrow was SO responsible for that season, going forward, and since LSU is not and will not be a perennial power like OU and Alabama, we should dub that year the 'Burrow factor'..as in, 'yea that team was great , they had the 'Burrow factor' working for them that year.' Or, 'oh man, they got Burrowed by that team'. It's fleeting. LOL

LSU has won three titles since OU last won one, including one over OU.

Seems OU always has a problem with LSU when it’s really on the line.

From perennial playoff contender to...

OU is undoubtedly a perennial contender. Moreso than any team in the SEC save Alabama. LSU, UF, UGA are all good teams but not nearly as consistent as OU's program. Not even close really.

Does OP know the definition of perennial?

OU skullfricked Florida and they would have beaten them with Pitts ...FLorida has been the most overrated program in cf since Urb left

Meh, I'd rather win titles than perennially get my arse kicked.

Just me though

ETA: All of the teams you mentioned would likely be "perennial contenders" if they played in the Big 12.

Your only consistency is losing when given the opportunity to play in the playoffs, which you rarely deserve. Evident by the beat downs.

Sport your team fills one week on the Bama schedule and that is it. Beating your team doesn't get you many tokens at the respect machine. Your team is like auburn in that beating you means we don't have to listen to your more than anything.

OU is a perennial playoff team. I'll give you that. But they have yet to contend for the title.
