OU went 94-4-2 in the 50s, including the longest winning streak in the history of the game. No one is saying Bama isn't the Yankees of college football. But to say OU is not elite is not only ridiculous and untrue, but smacks of jealousy. Riley is the offensive mind of his generation. You guys changed your offensive philosophy because of the points put up by Sooner teams over the last 20 years. LSU even did that for 2 seasons anyway. You're followers. OU has led the way in terms of changing how the game is played, the tip of the spear. That's because we are an elite program. The model program in fact.

Imagine all the followers being better than the "model."

Really? Based on what? A&M and Mizzou were in Big 12, they didn't win anything. They are the same programs in the SEC that they were in Big 12. I don't see it

Such shite logic. You know damn well how A&M’s profile has changed moving to the SEC. Recruiting is 10x better than it was during the big12 years.

If we were to use your logic then let’s just look at the last time our two teams played. Your team didn’t belong on the same field with A&M, an SEC team.

How far Oklahoma has fallen... by SidewalkTiger
I seem to recall Bammers beating their chests quite heartily after beating a pretty bad and quite shorthanded LSU team earlier this calendar year.

1. LSU was bad, but not short handed.

2. Simply enjoying a victory over the team with the most obnoxious fan base in country is not beating chests.

The SEC's second best team got their shite pushed in by a horribly mediocre OU team. What does that say about the SEC as a whole?

Don’t they get a top 5 class every year?
And their HC is supposed to be a superstar.

That particular Aggie team in 2012 you are correct as far as OU not belonging on the same field as them. 2012 Aggies could be their best team ever; better than 2020 and those great 90s teams.

And while Aggies have yet to win a division or conference title while in the SEC, they certainly have done better in recruiting and appeal being in the SEC. Just being away from Texas has helped.

But I do think the Aggies would have been a perennial top two or three program in the Big XII had they not left.

I have nothing against Texas A&M in general. CGSC is a dick but perhaps that’s just his usual nature.

We played with ~60 scholarship players or less pretty much all year

Alabama fans calling someone else obnoxious? The same fan base that frequently sees incidents like poisoning trees and murdering each other for not being upset enough about a loss?

The “it’s okay when we act like assholes but not okay when you do it” stuff is fricking hilarious. I don’t mind the chest beating but give the holier than thou shite a rest for the love of god.
