If Oklahoma is sad for beating their chests over pistol whipping Florida, how sad is Florida for allowing it to happen?

Okay? That makes all of the celebration even weirder.

You can't turn this around. It's in no way Alabama's fault, or Alabama fans fault, that LSU sucks. 5-5, 1-9,and 55-17 are all LSU's problem. Not Alabama's.

You want Alabama fans to take it easy on poor pathetic LSU? Is that it? Would that make your fragile little soul feel better? Frick off.

If LSU fans don't like conference opponents celebrating their wins over shitty LSU teams, then take it up with the shrimp boat captain you call head coach. Not our problem.

Also, if LSU didn't have the most ridiculous, absurd, vile, and repulsive fans in the conference, folks would likely take it easier on you.

From "goats" to a bunch of whining bitches in only one season.

Nice melt.

I never said I had a problem with anyone celebrating anything, just pointing out the hypocrisy of OP's statement

Your spin doesn't make something hypocrisy. It makes it bullshite.

Whats the difference in Oklahoma celebrating a win over "half an SEC team" and Alabama celebrating a win over the worst LSU team in 20 years?

Meh, I'd rather win titles...

OU has titles. More than LSU. Again not close.

Bottom line is OU has been in the top 5 for a decade. We've been close. But I freely say Bama and Clemson are the two best programs currently, and I hope OU gets another shot at them in near future. As for LSU, great team last year with Burrow. A little volatility since.

likely be perrenial contenders if they played in the Big 12

Really? Based on what? A&M and Mizzou were in Big 12, they didn't win anything. They are the same programs in the SEC that they were in Big 12. I don't see it.

Why did LSU celebrate wins over a decimated Alabama program in the early 2000's? Don't be a pussy. shite happens. At least UF took their arse whooping like men and didn't try to cower out of the game.

If OU wants to celebrate then good for them. Everyone would celebrate a cotton bowl win over a top ten team. The team that plays is the one that walks onto the field. That's not OU's fault or BAMA's fault. You done crying now?

Sounds like you should direct your concerns to OP then, this entire thread is about how pathetic it is that Oklahoma was celebrating, I simply pointed out the hypocrisy.

Not sure what the hell you're off on

I’ve seen Alabama fans tout a victory over a team missing more players literally all the time. Guess they’ve fallen too

The difference is that most of LSU's have come this century, pretty much all of yours havent.

Close? You've crumbled as soon as you played any good team out of conference when it really mattered.

I'm confused as to whats bothering you.

OP says Oklahoma celebrating a win over a depleted Florida team is pathetic.

I pointed out that Alabama celebrated beating a pretty depleted and bad LSU team which is basically the same thing.

Then you got triggered for some reason. Whats wrong with you?

Again, what are you mad about?

Do you disagree that both things are the same? If so, then why?

Not really. The OT game with Georgia was close. Kyler got us back in the game vs. Bama. Last year LSU was great and beat us bad. I wouldn't call any of it crumbling.

We beat Ohio St. in Columbus. Does that count as a game that matters to you? I think they all matter. That's just me.

I'm saying in terms of a CFP or national championship game.

Thats when it really "matters."

The Big 12 is a much weaker conference than the SEC (just to point out that the SEC has won 11 NC since 2003, and competed for 3 more.)

It is far easier to make the playoffs coming from the Big 12, yet the Big 12 is the only Power 5 conference that has failed to play in the Championship game.

OU is a good football school, but y'all have the idea that you are elite. You are not. Maybe in the 50's, but even then look at OU's schedule for 1956 (average record of opponents is 3-6-1, and OU only played 1 team with a winning record)

Yes, OU has some winning records over other conference teams (Alabama for one) but if they played yearly that would not be the case. Rice has a winning record too, but you think they would keep that if they played Alabama yearly?

The Minnesota Golden Gophers are undefeated against the Tide. Something tells me that would last for about one year if they played yearly lol.

They didn’t beat UGA in the playoff in the RoseBowl. Their full of himself QB Baker Mayfield almost cried.
