How does LSU react if Bama rolls right down the field as usual and scores?

Will they crack like an egg? Especially if they go three and out and Bama does it to them again like they have everyone else?

I imagine they would get ready to defend the extra point try.

What happens to a dream deferred?

Does it dry up
like a raisin in the sun?
Or fester like a sore—
And then run?
Does it stink like rotten meat?
Or crust and sugar over—
like a syrupy sweet?

Maybe it just sags
like a heavy load.

Or does it explode?

I feel like we're getting into a real Russian doll situation here with all these threads.

ETA: a letter

What are you going to do when you finally have to take a meaningful snap in the 4th quarter. Melt like Georgia?

You 're whistling past the graveyard. They have done it to every team they have played. So there's a real chance this can happen.None of you are facing a real possibility.

They'll start leaving. They have terrible fans.

2008... overtime

2010... LSU win

2012 ... Bama wins in final minute

2014... overtime

2016 ... 0-0 in 4th

2018 ... ????

No idea if LSU can win, probably not, but if history is any indication it’ll be close.

Somebody wrote a poem about it.

quote:

Who will cry for the little corndog, let down by his team?
Who will cry for the little corndog? He cries now as he melts.
Who will cry for the little corndog? Joy he has rarely felt.
Who will cry for the little corndog? He has seen the dumpster fire.
Who will cry for the little corndog? Such a disappointed fan.
Who will cry for the little corndog? He is annually letdown.
Who will cry for the little corndog? His teams lose and lose again.
Who will cry for the little corndog? It soon becomes too hard.
Who will cry for the little corndog, that cries in every rantard?

We’re battle tested. We’ll fight until it’s over. I want to see how Tua reacts when 95,000 drunk Cajuns are at the top of their lungs and he can’t hear himself think.
