Have they been having practices? I'm sure it's somewhat of a distraction. Can someone elaborate?
I hope for the best for all of you folks in Red Stick and surrounding marshes.

Doesn't matter. 6-6 season per the tRant.

We will lose to Wisconsin 52-0.

Get ready to be downvoted into oblivion for even bringing up the flooding

Very little if at all. The kicker that came to their team meeting in camo chest waders the other day is awesome.

It doesn't effect the team as much as it effects the fans. Lots of people have to cancel trips to Wisconsin and other games early in the season to deal with damages.
Denham Springs got absolutely destroyed I think something like 80% of the houses suffered major damage.

No doubt it will affect them. Hard to say to what extent, but yes they're still practicing.

Katrina August 2005 = LSU 11-2
Not saying it's the same but should be ok. Like someone else said in their post, I think it is more of a problem for the fans.

More likely 42-5

Don't believe a single practice was cancelled. LSU got hit but not as bad as other parts of the Baton Rouge area. It is a distraction because it hurts family members but if there is any coach out there that can find a way to keep his team focused through chaos I think it is Miles.

Well, the team's Gatorade will be made with water that looks like it came from that cooler in "The Waterboy"

Oh look. More Bama trash making fun of flood victims, property damage, and the chaos of another natural disaster.

That was making fun of flood victims?

This team will carry the State on their backs.

No doubt about that...the shame of it is that Miles creates quite a bit, so they are all used to it.

We won the west while going through Katrina

We've been fine. Campus has been dry for several days. Thanks for your concern for the safety of Louisiana residents.
