Because they are pretty damn good.

They are very talented. Only Alabama has recruited better than Florida has over the last 5 years in the SEC.

Muschamp has brought a physical and mental toughness to their team.

I never understood why a lot of people thought FL was going to stay down for a while. They recruit far too well to stay down long.

1. I'm not convinced. While they do have nice road wins and have beaten 2 currently ranked teams, the offense isn't balanced. Florida is ranked 118th in passing yards per game. That's terrible. Even LSU is ranked higher (112th). South Carolina was able to shut you down while the team was still in the game. When will Florida develop a passing game? They're running out of time.
The LSU game is a great one to look at when you want to judge Florida, though that was 3 weeks ago. Florida shut the LSU offense down thereby dominating the time of possession. Yet despite having 2 weeks to prepare, Florida only won by 8.
Florida had to wear the defense down considerably to the point that key players left the game before they started having success.

2. This isn't a good point. There's far more to being good than talent. Look at Miami (FL), Florida State, Georgia, Texas, etc. Ohio State hasn't reached Alabama or Florida's success these past few years, but their seasons minus last year have looked good.

3. I agree.

4. Again, see point 2. This isn't a good argument.

Even though I think Muschamp is possibly the biggest dewsh in CFB, I have a lot of respect for what they are doing right now.

They play great defense, run the ball well, pass when they need to, and Driskel can be tough to defend when he keeps it on the bootleg.

I think Florida could definitely beat Alabama in the SECCG and even win the BCSNC.

Maybe that's what's really at issue. I don't think we're there yet on offense but if you compare the 3rd qtr of the USC game to the way our passing game looked earlier in the season and consider that Driskel fired 4 pretty good touchdown passes in that game there seems to be plenty of improvement. Obviously till a long way to go but I'm happy to keep relying on the D and special teams for now.

I couldn't disagree with you more.

Boom is a Saban disciple and understands that if you can run the ball, stop the run, play outstanding defense and don't turn the ball over, you will be in every game.

Additionally Fl has the best Special teams in the country. Christy leads the nation in punting, and Sturgis has made 12 of 14 FGs this year. FL has awesome athletes who cover and return kicks.

They have the 7th ranked defense in the land. The Gators are 9th in turnover margin.

They also make fantastic halftime adjustments. They went to A&M with no tape on the aggies, and shut them out the second half.

Yep. They for real.

Should kick GA butt unless the dogs come out with some super duper WACish uniform that tackles for them.

Good defense / kicking game and finally an inside running game with a QB and WR who are servicable. Simply put a good team.

Tide goes in, tide goes out, Florida wins; never a miscommunication... You can't explain that!!

It's clear to me and probably most other people when watching Florida play that they really aren't that good.Top 15 team maybe but def not one of the top 10 teams in the country.

Yet here they are undefeated.

Muschamp is a joke so I know that coaching can't be the reason.

All I can say us enjoy it while it last Florida fans because you WILL get exposed at least twice this season, and will be forced to go back into hiding and wii be wallowing in mediocrity again by the half way point of next season.

You do realize that UF is a year ahead of schedule right?

Next year was supposed to be this year for UF.

And you're a plain tool if you think that this has been unimpressive for them. At this point, UF was supposed to have 3-4 losses already this season.

No one has beaten them yet. Well, that's how I would put it.

I just think that if Florida played LSU 10 times that LSU would win 9 of them.

At LSU, LSU wins 7 or 8 out of 10.
At UF, LSU and UF split. They were extemely lucky to beat LSU at home. Don't see that happening every time.

I think LSU fans appreciate UF more because UF is like LSU of 2011

Questionable Passing Game
Pounding Running Game
Great Special Teams
Great, opportunistic defense

Reminds me of the 1992 Bama team. How did they go undefeated?

Answer: Great Defense, special teams, enough offense to get by.
