Everyone has been talking about A&M. But, what about the longhorns? That program has been a shatshow for years.

Sponsors are offering financial incentives for position groups.
For example, offensive linemen will make XXX amount of dollars per year in NIL deals.
They’re doing it, you know, the legal way unlike lil bro Aggy.

They paid 50k an offensive lineman and it paid off, we obviously weren’t paying 50k a player bc we missed on guys we were both in on (Kevin banks is one) that they took after that program came out
The 30 million dollar class myth took such life, especially among the LSU crowd, they believe it but ignore proof like this

So let me get this straight. Longhorns sponsors can publicly offer money to position groups. But because it’s a known amount of money for the position and stated publicly it’s legal? While A&M keeping it as a private negotiation between corporations and athletes is illegal?
Sorry, but y’all are bat shite crazy.

Aggy is targeting specific high school athletes.
That is against Texas state law.
Not a good look.

Aggie fricked.
With their one 5 star player from the 2021 class (Shemar Turner) taken into account with the seven 5 star players in the 2022 class, Aggie will have one 5 star player to account for each win in 2022 when they inevitably go 8-4 again (and again forfeit the bowl game).

We still have a good shot at Overton, he just reclassified today

Add 5-star players Demond Demas (2020), Jaylon Jones (2020) and Baylor Cupp (2019) and that's 11 wins by your 6th grade Michael Moore logic.

Recruiting has never been the problem in Austin.

Because UT is the flagship in the state of Texas. They’ll always be relevant.

Lmao too perfect, short horn always relevant to Louisiana eh? I don’t blame LSU for feeling that way, do you get starry eyed watching horn play too?

This wasn’t a particularly unusual class for UT.

Money (at least that’s a lot of the reason). That’s just how the game is played now.
A lot of highly ranked recruits come from Texas. Proximity plays a part.
And Texas was an extremely fortunate benefactor of Oregon and OU losing their coaches last second. It was a perfect storm despite a forgettable season
