I didn’t understand the Kiffin hype back then and I still don’t. Outside of Conference USA this is only his 3rd respectable season in his entire career. BK was 2-1 against Kiffin when he was at USC. BK beat Kiffin with a depleted roster in year 1 on the road and almost beat him again this year with Joe Biden coaching the defense.
Kiffin is all hype and that’s all he’s ever been. He’s a fun character to watch but a completely mediocre coach when it comes down to it. Dumb logic is dumb.
