How did Arky not get a regional?

Not a hog fan but that really sucks. Don't tell me other teams went very far in their conference tournament so they deserve a regional over the hogs.

I mentioned this in another post, but Arkansas is going to shite on that regional and outnumber fans 5 to 1. They better stock up on the Tyson chicken nuggets asap.
For reference, we have the largest average attendance in the big 12. In the SEC we’d be at #11 lol.

Which shows you KPI and DSR weren’t all that important. Arkansas is 14th in both.

We sure outnumbered you in head to head victories this year in Stillwater. Not to mention that arse kicking we just gave you in the tournament on top of it.
Are you really predicting a fan base of a two seed is gonna fill up 3400 of 4000 seats? Has that ever come close to happening in real life at any NCAA regional?

What’s weird is we beat #3 in the country and didn’t move up at all. I think it was decided before the tournament and it didn’t move so they could have that reason. In any rate, we were 21 in RPI and had more quarter one wins than anyone in the conference. It was a hit job like we tend to take so many times in this conference. People wonder why Arkansas fans will never chant SEC? frick everyone else

Committee figured Arky fans suffered enough that hogs fans should be spared this season postseason choke job from being seen in person? Just a guess

Well, if the committee prioritizes RPI, which they have done consistently in previous years, it wasn’t a hit job, it was pretty cut and dried.
Arkansas is a fine team and depending on matchups, might benefit them in the end. It’s all about the matchups.

Hog fans can bring those to any regional that is within a decent driving distance from home.

Arkansas can join the Big 12. I do believe that conference is the best suited for Arkansas.

Omaha is a neutral site. You can definitely win the regional, but you’re not outnumbering the home fans.

i thought everyone knew the tournament was a scrimmage for all but the bottom teams hoping to play into an auto qualifying spot

They really did except those 5 OOC losses really hurt them. We at State have learned that the hard way as they have cost us a Regional Host in a couple of different seasons. Every game counts.

I think that's 6 straight wins over the horns dating back to the 2021 season. And thank you, I hadn't realized you guys had sat all your starters in those games getting ready for a tourney.
