Then get applets or any device that has an App Store. Download the Directv now app. I got in early and pay $35 for all 100 channels. ESPN/espn2/espnu and sec network.

Since I have a DIRECTVnow account I can also log into the espn watch app and watch anything I want. Haven't missed an event this year.

Local channels via HDTV antenna.

Jail broken Amazon fire tv. Watch whatever you want (new movies, old movies, new and old TV shows, sports, etc) whenever you want, all for the amazing low price of $0.

It's not zero dollars because you have to pay for the fire box or stick.

The gubment is cracking down on this stuff too. Not sure how long it will last. I have a jailbroken Kodi box and watch a lot of TV and movies (new and old) with it. Have never used it to watch a football game though

Go to Hooters. If the game turns to shite you can drink weak draft and watch the titties.

Gauging from his thread, I doubt that he's old enough to be in a bar.

I believe so because all I needed last year was Sling and CBS online since that's the only big 3 network that matters to me for football.

Was waiting for that comment. Took ya long enough, Harry.

I've had both and like them both. It really depends on what services and programming you use most. Dish's streaming is fricking amazing as is their DishAnywhere service that comes standard. Dish has a tech edge both for hardware/reg tv service and streaming to your devices. DirectTV has a slight advantage in terms of bundling the channels I wanted most (but that's personal preference).

Packages are different based on taste.

I just never liked the layout of Dish's on-screen guide. My parents love it, though. To each his own.

Yeah the layout took some getting used to when I had it. I've since cut the cord completely and gone with Prime and Sling. That's all I need.

Not sure who your cable provider is but I have time Warner Cable and the streaming community has resorted to TWC offering streaming services instead of cable for $20 a month

ETA: it's actually Spectrum Cable now not TWC

Illegal streaming from muh Russian websites since CBS and Espn don't want to make money off of me. Hopefully now with Trump colluding with muh Russians I can start watching these things in HD.

thank you dear leader
