Same as before I knew that. I have no confidence in any facet of the athletics' department at State. I am hoping the baseball hire will give me something to be happy about. We'll see.

Who is State's Mark Cuban? Without one of those, wouldn't have mattered no matter how good of a coach he is. Also, without a Cuban, a lot of those players that have been loyal to him since JMU probably aren't quite as loyal in today's environment.

we went all-in on NIL this last season and per google AI, that was 6 million plus. Indiana had a 21+ million dollar roster.

That is not accurate. We were around 12-13 million which is still not close to top half of the league. Also our NIL $ doesn’t go as far as others considering who our coach is and our track record post Leach.
ETA: we never interviewed Cignetti either. We were coming off a similar aged coach dying so we were shooting for a younger guy. Sucks

State did not interview Cignetti. He was on Selmon's list but didn't make the interview cut due to concerns about his age.
