That stadium looks like it will be rather large.

Wow. That's well done. Stubhub should steal that idea by the weekend.

Ironically it is along the Mississippi in New Orleans that is it's highest point. The Quarter did not flood during Katrina.

Then again, prior to Katrina (a man-made disaster), the last time New Orleans flooded was Hurricane Betsy - FORTY YEARS PRIOR.

It was truly surreal watching CNN, Fox, etc standing on Poydras Street downtown saying how New Orleans dodged a bullet, only to have the city flood due to FEDERAL failings by the Corps of Engineers in their flood walls.

BTW, most Louisinaa Acadians (Cajuns) don't live in New Orleans, but to the south and west of New Orleans. And only about 8% of the 4.5 million Louisiana residents are of French Acadian ancestry.

Interestingly, Lafayette, La - the center of 'Cajun Country' is one of the more progressive metro areas in the country, and it still makes the list for one of the largest concentration of millionaires in America, per capita....

Why, "even Missourians" should comprehend that..

Every time I see State'd addition I like it more. Def the class of Mississippi now. Ole Miss needs to respong in a big way.

We went last year and enjoyed it. Looked pretty good even with the end zone under construction.

I believe Ole Miss has plans for VH too.

Yes. We are busy with the new basketball arena now. When that is done, they are bowling in the north endzone at Vaught-Hemingway, renovating the West side and adding some club level seats. We have a lot going on and a lot planned.

Hadn't heard that.
I stand corrected.
The Swaggercopter certainly deserves some time off, after the busy week it's clearly had.

Exactly. The Swaggercopter has put in enough work for the time being.

Can't have lazy bats around Kyle, either. Make themselves useful in tOffseason

Are they covering up the erector set with brick on the sideline seats?

On the sidelines yes. On the new south end it will only be partially covered.

Without even knowing any details, this sounds like something that would lead to endless bitching by LSU fans.

It has been "discussed" many times on TexAgs.

Things that would be said on tRant:

"WTF? Did TAF run out of money?"
"LSU always finds a way to frick something up"
"Would have look great if not for that"

And every few days someone would come through with "what's the deal with that uncovered area? They're going to finish that up, right?" This would then lead to the above statements being repeated again.
