It appears that the Spence Park renovation might have taken a large lurch forward.

Sharp said the university recently received money from a donor to add a lake to the east side of Kyle Field for tailgating that will probably be ready for use in 2016.

Because they renovated the only side of the stadium that didn't need renovating

This.

Plus the top concourse is a pretty cool feature that I wish they would have kept. I disagree with having a field level lounge section because when it gets hot, all of people that own these seats will be inside the air conditioned lounge and the seats will be empty.

So they're building a barn in West Point?

Cool

Man, A&M could do something similair to what USCe is doing with the Market area by the stadium with that park and make it amazing. So much potential. It's one of the things that UGA really doesn't have; that is, a prime space close to the stadium (closest thing is the Oconee Hill Cemetery directly behind the stadium and that belongs to the Football Letterman; one of the coolest damn places on earth to eat barbecue and drink beer and listen to old war stories but not a lot of room to spread out given that the monuments and headstones in there date back to pre-Civil War (thus a lot of restrictions on where you can set up so as not to disturb the historical value).

That's one of the biggest drawbacks to having on-campus football stadiums and other athletic venues, especially after 100+ yrs of collegiate athletics. USC gets some criticism from Clemson fans because Williams-Brice isn't an on-campus stadium, but most of the Clemson fans have to park 1+ miles away from their stadium and walk. Williams-Brice is essentially 1+ mile away from the USC campus, so what's the difference?

And the USC campus is steadily expanding towards Williams-Brice, while Clemson's campus can only expand AWAY from their stadium, so things will get worse comparatively speaking in the future, as far as from where Clemson fans stand....

Here is a very cool recent aerial pic of Kyle field. Sorry, but I can't embed the pic right now.

(You have to scroll down a little for the better picture.)

Why are the new Tennis Courts in Tulane colors?

Does no company make synthetic surfaces for Tennis Courts in Purple and Gold?

Luxury boxes Kyle Field.
Those actually look just like the public eyesore FEMA trailer duplicates that LSU slammed on top of the new SEZ Addition. These "Architectural Abominations" totally ruined the visual Aesthetics of the entire SEZ project.
