Hopefully a good, hard hitting, injury free game. Hope EJ heals up quick and better than ever.

LSU has a puncher's chance, but realistically, Bama should win the game.

Bama is the "better" team but LSU has much more than a puncher's chance. If LSU wins it will not be luck, they have equal talent. It is just intersting to see how LSU has gone in a different direction these last four weeks.

What is dumb is to leave out stats because one program was unstable. Maybe LSU is more stable now, but the stats are for the year. If you want to talk about stats after the AU game, go ahead. I would love to post in that thread. I am not going to leave out games in my thread. I am perfectly ok with it if you do it in yours, however.

No thanks....don't need to look at stats...just saying that it doesn't tell the whole story (never does)... especially in LSU's case this year or for the past few years. Bottom line is LSU plays Bama tough at home EVERY year and now that the anchor has been cut off the boat they actually have a chance to win the game again.

Miles would have destroyed these last three opponents also.

Too bad. I want to see those stats, but I don't know where to find them. I actually expected to talk about Bama's offense and the turnovers.

Look, Bama should win this game on paper, and it shouldn't be that close. Key to the game is pressure and containment on your QB who isn't that gifted of a passer and force him into mistakes.

If Bama turns it over a few times, LSU has a chance.

I have a level of optimism. Bama and LSU have both played Ole Miss, and tbh our defense looked better against them than Bama's did. Our D only gave up 21 points to Ole Miss and shut them out in the 2nd half. And their last TD was a drive of 9 yards. If we can win the turnover battle, and avoid costly penalties, I think we really have a shot.

Guys we are both good teams. Alabama deserves to be number 1 until they are beaten. Let's just play in two weeks and let the chips fall where they may. I do think it's funny Alabama fans think this is just gonna be a cake walk. There is no way LSU will not keep this game close on a Saturday night in Death Valley.

All I said was that LSU is a different team without the clown coaching and with Etling at QB...

You have a clown coaching now.
And a guy that couldn't cut it at Purdue at QB.
I love the optimism!

No. They really do not. No one has equal talent with Bama. That's not a dig at LSU, it's just a fact.

OP- This is the exact same information that made your Reverend Kim Jung Un go off on your Alabama beat writer. Better hope he's not on the SEC RANT. You'd be on his next hit list.

It's gonna take a near flawless game from my Tigers...one or no turnovers, no drive killing penalties after big plays (always seems to be the case vs Bama), and Bama will need to make more than one mistake...more than one turnover. No one can argue the dominance that has been The Tide. But, streaks have to end sometime. Just hope its a "quality" game!

We get it. You are the best team in the Nation.

We are still going to play in two weeks. Just in case.

Great stats.

Bama is clearly better, which is why they're #1.

No question. Bama has a great team. They should roll over LSU easily.

Should ...

I'm glad we actually play the games, though. Perhaps the outcome will be different.

Why don't you run the stats on the last 3 games? Or, extrapolate the last 3 games over the season? Just a thought. This is obviously a totally different team than the one who lost to Auburn. Just for fun, I mean.

And a guy that couldn't cut it at Purdue at QB.

Well, Purdue did just fire that head coach...maybe he F@cked up a little on his QB evals like Les did..(he got fired too in case you missed it). Purdue had 2 QBs transfer out of the program that are at SEC schools. Etling has improved the QB position drastically.

Call Ed O a clown? The guy has immediately turned the program around. I mean, they aren't Alabama, but then again what team in the country is. I would guess it's in everyone's best interest to just hand the trophy over to the Tide and call it a season.

Humble and Alabama fan are words not usually spoken in the same breath.
