Banal characters, plot and storyline. The Last Temptation of Christ is at least a pretty interesting spin on the story of Jesus and original. Passion of Christ is an unrealistic piece of shite geared toward Christian sheep that want to see a gore piece. Just a regurgitated story of Easter with some CGI blood added in.

Apocalypto could be argued as "original", but the plot of chasing a guy through the jungle for 60 minutes leaves much to be desired as a viewer. Entertaining - sure, but zero character development. Just a high production B-level horror/action film with a gory study into torture and death.

Well according to you if I dont think apocalypto and passion of the christ are good then I have bad taste in movies. Gotta love historically inaccurate films with stale storylines overcompensated with copious gore.
