Clayton needs to get to the rim.
Can’t. He’d get mugged with no call

Not sure why the refs decided to directly intercede in the game after calling it pretty lax in 1st half.
Just horrible officiating for a title game. That pretty much gives UH the game.
UF is cooked
Yeah, this has just worked out beautifully for Houston...they'll probably do a little less shoving, grabbing, and chopping because the refs gave them the most favorable signal possible that the officiating changed after the half.

You're talking about a call on one guy who threw a football block and another who set a clear illegal screen right in front of an official.

Refs decided to decide the game.

Clayton has gone full retard.

Florida came out just body blocking and shoving to start the half, the calls have been good.

Yeah Clayton and Condon playing like complete hacks in the championship game is suboptimal.

UF won’t get another title chance for several years.
That’s the harsh reality. Totally owned in a title game. Coaches, players, everyone.
Just punked

Then Condon’s foul should have been an offensive foul on Houston. The same plays are called differently depending on which team is doing it. Just horrible officiating

Correct call both times

I have no issue with those calls in a vacuum, but none of those were getting called in the first half. The inconsistency is the issue.

The biggest concern for Florida going into the season was that Clayton is not a point guard. We somehow got this far despite that but Houston was finally able to exploit it in the biggest game.

They called 5 fouls in a row on FLA, 2 of which I though were questionable. The screen was the right call. I thought a couple were cheesy and they could have held their whistle considering that they have been doing it the rest of the night, including for Houston.
But if UF can’t find some offense it doesn’t matter anyways

You Florida fans just love to give up.

Story isn't the fouls it's that Houston has eliminated Clayton from the game but that leaves the other 4 Florida players with an advantage they can't capitalize on.

TKO by Houston. What a team. Hell of a run by UF but they met their match
