Hoped the Horns could improve on our dominating 7-1-1 record over Alabama

But the preseason injuries are mounting so it will be a great challenge on September 10th. It's likely that we'd still be undefeated against the Tide if Colt hadn't gotten hurt.
We've got our backs against the wall,
facing a great Alabama team with the odds stacked against us. But regardless of the odds and likely outcome, I promise we won't quit and damn sure won't forfeit like our cowardly little brother!

The best part about Texas joining the SEC is that Alabama will quickly fix that record.

It annoys me that when Texas and Oklahoma join the league they will become the only SEC teams, past or present, with a winning record against Alabama. However, I expect that to be rectified in fairly short order.

Yeah, well now you know how Vanderbilt feels about you guys joining the SEC
At least now you will have to play in Nashville instead of all those game you lost to Vanderbilt in Texas. I guess the Dores may widen their winning margin first tho.

You may want to leave the "If Colt had not gotten hurt" mantra behind. The more you keep talking about it the more other SEC schools will run up the score till you stop whining. That may have worked in the SWC and B12 but this is the SEC.

Alabama will definitely rectify the record verse texas quickly but, when it comes to OU.
