this isn't sports, it is a business. As the Bible says the love of money is the root of all evil. Not money but the Love of money and that has become college football and basketball.

It never ceases to amaze me that so many people who are politically oriented to the right are unabashed communists when it comes to college football.

From Lsu stealing money from sick kids, to Texas A&M trying to buy its way to relevance, it's a shame what college football has become. There is no more honor or sportsmanship.

Yes. Things were so much better in the good old days where we had real bag men and one school would have 140 kids on scholly and another 60. It was the schools that you liked that often benefited so that was when college football was honorable.

These days when schools you don't like are using the rules to their advantage to let kids make a few bucks legally is so immoral. Bring back the bag men!

Great melt btw!

Honor in CFB has never existed. Cheating has been rampant since I was in school 20 plus years ago. Hell, SMU got the death penalty when I was a kid

If the Junction Boys is to be believed, the first thing Bear Bryant did after coming to A&M was get some West Texas oil money from old Ags to compete with tu for athletes. He was impressed with his first meeting since he got more money out of those cowboys than the blue bloods in Lexington.

I'm sure all that stopped when he went to Bama.

LSU embraced NIL with billboard on Times Square.. Please repost your moral objections so we can see how right you were to back when L. S. U was busy embracing it.

Thanks in advance.

I'm glad LSU got rid of its hospital-swindling rogue booster long before winning a title the right way in 2019.

Would y'all please just shut the program down and turn the stadium into a shrine to 2019 already? This shite is fricking embarrassing from a supposed top 10 all-time program. I hate to use Auburn as a good example for anything, but their 2010 season was even more magical than LSU's 2019, and yet you don't see them constantly talking about it years later like it was the absolute pinnacle of college football. They enjoyed it and then moved on.

There was never very much to begin with. Lying and cheating has always been a thing, unfortunately.

For the faked injuries how about sending the HC to the locker room for the rest of the game. No communication with the team and suspended for the 1st half of the next game like targeting. Should absolutely not be tolerated. Don't like the call, tooooo badddd.

Since black players were integrated into the sport, I would say that is true because it made it much more competitive. Prior to the 1960s I would argue college football was pretty amateur. A lot of teams were made up of walk ons and there were only a handful of big-name schools out there. The entertainment value for professional football was marginal so a lot of good players didn't go to college in hopes of going pro.
