The Auburn/LSU game has always been a crazy series. Anything can happen.

This

The last 5 games games, total margin of victory 19 pts. look at the history of these two dating back to the late 1800s, the winning team only has a double digit victory and handfull of times.

There is no way that AU can play defense vs LSU's size for 4 quarters. They have already shown in the last two games that they get tired by the 3rd.

LSU is bigger and they just have to play ball control.

AU can win but they need the offense to be able to hold onto the ball. If there are a bunch of 3 and outs in the 1st half AU will not be able to stop LSU in the 2nd half.

If State can nearly defeat them, yall certainly can. Anyone can beat anyone in the West right now (maybe minus Alabama).

Our defense is not going to win the game anyway. I have to disagree with you that LSU needs to play ball control. Arkansas started that with the lead and we put up 20 on them in the 3rd quarter. LSU needs to get the ball down field and expose our weak cb's and lb's. As long as you do that you win. If you slow the game down, then we have a good chance to win.

Fyi.. regardless of the two losses and how this one ends up, I am damn happy with the direction of the program.

And you have Charles Scott.

We also have Les Miles. When has he beaten a respectable SEC team by more than seven points?
He's always a sure betfor blowing a double digit lead at least once a year.
As long as he's on the sideline, you'll have a chance.

I'll even do you one better.
Tennessee'05- (loss)
Tennessee & Arkansas- '06. Although we won, LSU was up by double digits and relinquished the lead. Had to comeback late to win both.
Bama '07. Up 17-3 in the first quarter, trailed at halftime.
UK'07- (loss). Up 27-13 in the second half.
Arkansas '08- Up 30-14 in the second half only to lose 31-30.
Should I mention he had a history of doing it at Oklahoma State? Do you recall his masterful 35-7 halftime lead over Texas where the Cowboys have up 49 second half points?
As I said, if you're a decent conference foe, you've always got a chance when going against ol Les.

There's always a chance. Your run defense is horrible though. LSU can just run it up the gut 40 times and play keep away. That's like a wet dream for Les Miles.

This made me laugh...

We can win this game but it will depend on the offense like it has all season. The offense must score points and do so consistently and early. If we can force LSU to start throwing the ball and get away from running the ball and force them to pass. This plays to our defense's strengths and gives us a better chance, JJ has not proven he can win a game if he is forced to do so.

if the offense comes out like it has the last two weeks and LSU can run the ball 40+ times it'll be a long night.
