Most of family is LSU folk. They a great people.
The only two true stereotypes about LSU are the corn dog thing and being loud overall. Maybe the drinking.

Cocky and drunk.. Usually not a great thing if you are a bad drunk. As a result, you often have fans that act like dipshits.
Most are just out to have a good time and watch some football. The words to some of the songs in the stands are uncalled for. There are kids at the games...

my biggest issue from our fans is that they just don't know what we have until it's gone.
For example, 2 100+ million dollar, top-25 athletic programs come after our AD. Instead of even a brief "Would be nice if he stays", half of our fans want to help him pack so we can hire Dan Radakovich, who left Georgia Tech's athletic program in a similar condition to Baylor in the 90s
Dan's an "LSU guy". this is almost all on the premise that some of our fans think there's an AD out there who shits free tickets and doesn't schedule neutral site games. I think our fans are arguably the most hospitable. The tiger rant is also no worse than any other SEC school's main board. the rant is just too intertwined with the SECR, plain and simple.
Hemphead is right. Our alumni aren't any different than Auburn's, Arkansas', Bama's, Ole miss', etc. Vandy is in a league of its own, and that's about the extent of it

Then I recall Auburn fans being all up in arms about some LSU fan slashing a line of tires, only to find out it was an auburn fan who did the slashing.
Auburn fans just like to resort to "the Auburn way" as a method of copping with LSU dick slapping their athletic program in everything outside of equestrian and swimming. it's kind of sad, really. just look at Msgarrison

I merely gave you the truth. I am not basing the entire fan base off what one person did. just as I do not base the Bama fans off what updyke did.
The overall fan base that visits Auburn is the worst of all the fan bases in my opinion.
To be honest, its really not even close.
One person does not make a fan base just as a few visiting fans do not.

I saw a post on the Auburn web forum before last years game where a guy encouraged Auburn fans, if they came to Baton Rouge for the game, to get their concealed weapons permit and pack heat in the stadium.

The LSU fans I know personally are some of the best human beings I've ever come into contact with. They are fun, passionate, welcoming, and can drink, party, and cook better than anyone else I know.
The sidewalk fans at LSU are the one's who give them the bad rap. Ya know, the one's that live in the mud bucket parts of the state, paint a tiger eye on the hood of their truck and yell a very odd form of "Tigah Bait!" at you on the Parade Grounds with the intent of being harassing, when you know good and well that gameday is the only time they've ever set foot on campus.
