Our defense is better. But they had no where else to go but up. We need to shore up the safety position.

Offensive line absolutely blows and the offense looked out of sorts for most of the game.

WR Burden is a stud, but Cook most definitely is not. He is the worst starting QB in the SEC. Peat seems to be the real deal at RB.

Unless he dramatically improves, I don’t think Cook is the starter for much longer. We might be able to lean on our run game- if we do that and Cook can find a way to get Burden the ball…we might finish 7-5.

Your gators impressed me, and enjoyed watching AR-15. What a stud! You will win 11. One thing about Napier’s teams, they’re always focused and ready to play.

I still expect to lose at least 4 games. Our 2 deep is good enough but the chance of no one getting hurt (especially on the DL) is 0. And our offense has a lot more in common with Mullen then it does the Fun and Gun or Urban's spread so hopefully fans are patient.

The good:

- Stetson and Monken are completely in sync
- Tons of playmakers with varied skill sets, making this offense a nightmare to game plan against
- #24 Malaki Starks is going to be a superstar

The bad:

- Guard play needs improvement, but can get corrected
- ILBs were out of position too much, but that will come with more experience

The ugly:

- Not sure the DL play overall is going to be up to snuff, and I'm not sure we have the bodies overall to correct that easily

Y'all beat a team with 52 blue chippers by 46 points, there's no bad right now.

We are much improved. Defense is salty and the offense was clicking

We will be a dangerous team to anyone and can win 10 games if we avoid the typical leach head scratching loss

Fair, but Kirby doesn't think like that.

By no means did we play a powerhouse but:

The offense has improved alot since last year, especially the O line.
The defense has a whole lot of work to do, especially the D line and secondary. The Defense had 0 TFL or sacks. The secondary gave up over 260 yards of passing. I know we only played a lot of our starters a couple series after the half, but still, this will not hold up in the SEC schedules.

We looked damn good but I didn’t see the OL dominance that we missed so badly last year.

OL is bad. If it doesn’t get fixed quickly we are in big trouble.

King looked a little out of control at times but I can’t tell if that is just how he plays or if he just has zero confidence in the OL.

Defense looked good overall.

Special teams don’t look quite locked in and Smith tries to do too much in my opinion.

Mostly played hard. But poorly. No competent unit on the team. Looked like a team in a total rebuild with a long ways to improve

Have a mobile quarterback who doesn't pass well. A below average offensive line. The few upperclassmen on the team showed relatively little leadership (poor play like dropped passes and dumb quarterback hits).

Kelly looked rattled in the first half but better later in the game. Daniels kept playing and completed a few passes against prevent defense but fairly little prior (did not against real defensive sets).

LSU needs to establish some rhythm against cupcakes before the team is good enough to beat the bottom half of the SEC schedule.

Alabama, Florida and probably Tennessee should beat the LSU team that we saw yesterday by three or more touchdowns. Winning six games to be bowl eligible is the medium term goal.

Pretty good analysis of the Dawgs on Saturday. SEC teams will bring a lot more to the table than Oregon.

Oregon will be better later in the year, but I can guarantee you Tennessee, Florida, Kentucky and Mississippi State will be much more challenging by the time we play them.

Definitely improved. I think with a 4-0 start we are looking at a 9-3 or 10-2 season if the QB stays healthy.

Premature ejaculation by opposing fans. We will win 10 or 11 games this year.

Kentucky always seems to make the MAC games closer than they should be - winning by 24 wasn't bad. The offensive line obviously needs work, and that will get better when they get one of the starters back.

The big question is why is the AD on a one man crusade to sit their best RB and a starting LB.
