They're ranked exactly where they should be..#1

The front 7 is dominant on defense, the O-line is really good. Championship Football is won in the trenches and so far Georgia has won that battle 7 times in a row.

I don't think anyone left on their schedule can stand up to them in that regard. Unless they have an off game with several turnovers, they will arrive in Atlanta unblemished.

But before I crown them NC.. I would be interested to see them play a team that can stress them at both levels..run and pass. They haven't faced a really balanced offensive team.

If Alabama can get there, it should be a good test. But Georgia would be favored and they should be.

But after 7 weeks, Georgia is the best team in the country and its really not close

I think UGA would have beaten Bama by two TDs a couple of weeks ago. But Bama looks to be rounding into form.

That said the west is still wide open

The road to the NC goes thru Tuscaloosa until it doesn't.

Georgia is almost certainly the best team in the nation. That being said, they will eventually choke and not win the natty.

Honestly I'm sorta jealous of their tackling defense and cornerbacks turning around to find the ball.

First time Jobe in Alabama career turned around to locate the ball last night. It was like he didn't believe he intercepted the pass, and was looking for a flag.

That front 7 of theirs on D is just filthy, absolutely filthy. Very impressed with them yesterday.

That front 7 is just insane. Looks like they’re built in some factory.

Georgia is the only complete team. If their offense was a little better, they would be in consideration with 1995 Nebraska and 2001 miami

Will it be anything like Tennessee last night?

Still have to get back our injured to see how good our offense and our defensive backfield can be.

Right now I'd say it's a pick em game in Atlanta.

Hopefully get a clearer picture after the last 3rd of the season.

That’s probably true, but it won’t be to that washed up ugly orange turd factory called Tennessee.

Alabama is as solid as walnut.

Split poll I could live with but after an honest assessment Alabama is in the drivers seat to the crown.

Kentucky plaed a very good game. I think we managed to pull away a bit based on depth.

Weren't you guys missing two DLinemen? Very good game for the Cats. You guys have a good team. I hope you win out.

One of the best defenses I’ve seen in years. That said, they haven’t played anyone who does anything that could stress their defense in a serious way and won’t during the regular season IMO.

Watching UK try to play power run against that defense made me sad, no one in the country can hurt them that way.

I do think there is a chance that a spread team with outside speed at WR and a high level QB has an opportunity to move the ball because their secondary is banged up and the same guys who murder a UK type offense on the DL can get winded quick trying to play in space.

It’s like watching a peak Saban/Smart defense where no one could run, but you’d see a Texas A&M with Manziel go wild because they weren’t as elite vertically.

Probably not. Tennessee made a comeback that fell short. You guys will probably just choke a lead.
