"Coached in..."
Means they lost
Just stop. It's not an achievement

thread about highest paid coaches, where a current LSU coach was pointed out in that thread

Nothing in the op specifically mentioned about Kiffin. His name just happens to be among 20 of the highest paid coaches. LSU fan was the first response, talking about Kiffin.
I personally think Kiffin will do a good job at LSU. But LSU fans sure have become defensive about him.

I have faith that some of you will someday realize that this is an LSU centric board.

Then you shouldn't get upset when someone mentions LSU....especially after LSU fan brought it up to begin with.

Yet you're here getting upset that an LSU fan brought up the LSU coach being mentioned in a post on an LSU centric board.

To be fair, Vrabel and Johnson received their salaries before winning the AFC and NFC North, respectively, so Kiffin still has time.

10. 15 million- Tyron Lue- Won NBA championship
11. 14 million- Kevin Stefansky

These two are the worst by far along with Aaron Glenn.

The Falcons could have had MacDonald (Seahawks) and went the Atlanta route of hiring Raheem Morris ...

Stefansky is a slight upgrade but again until Blank sells the team or dies ... the Falcons are going to make stupid decisions (Cousins/Penix) with money.

You’re 8-4 this year without lane

I'd like to see someone match highest player salaries and accomplishments to these coaching salaries.

That’s a nice list to be part of. Lane has to earn it now and so far he has shown that he is up to the task.

LSU fired their coach that won a National Title and paid a huge buyout so they could hire a new coach that hadn't won anything.
Then when BK bombed they fired him and paid a huge payout so they could hire another coach that's hasn't won anything.
They're paying Kiffin Kirby Smart/Ryan Day money even though Kiffin hasn't won shite.

Looks like desperation to me

We would have been 8-4 or worse with Lane if Simmons starts the whole year. He still has more interceptions than Chambliss while only playing in five games. We would've potentially lost to Kentucky, Arkansas, LSU, Florida, and WSU.

who's upset? just pointing how stupid you look.

again, the OP was about highest paid coaches, and their accomplishments to justify their salaries, so of course the OP was 100% taking a jab at LK.

the LSU fan said he accomplished something at OM, nowhere in there is he making it about LSU, just that LK at his previous job, got a team into the playoffs.

but in typical fashion, the bama fan has to chime and to try to put down the LSU fan. its like 2007 when there was only tigerdroppings, and bama fans made chicken one of the richest webpage owners for sports because y'all couldn't stay out of the tigerdroppings, so chicken made the SEC rant, so he and his fortunes thank you and your goons who can't keep LSU out of your mouth.

No he doesn’t. His contract is 80% guaranteed. If he can just manage to not get fired for cause he will be paid $73 million by LSU regardless of wins and losses.

LSU fans here loved to point out that among SEC teams; Ole Miss had the 14th ranked strength of schedule in ‘25 and the 16th and dead last SOS in ‘24.

But now they like to brag about Kiffins record in ‘24 and ‘25. It is a peculiar thing to observe.

Good.

They should be doing everything in their control to try to improve the product on the field.
