Ehhh. Def wasn’t our best effort with a sick and injured Kamario. Not to mention our two best RBs and two d linemen out. If I were a Bama fan I’d be a little upset that we were in the game at halftime to be honest.

I’m upset that we continued to participate in the turnover drill that got y’all the football closer and closer to our end zone. Mississippi State has often had quality football teams without enough horses, and that may or may not have changed this season. It’s the little things on both sides of the football that drive me crazy, as with most any fan.

Bama is a better team than State even if State were at full strength and played a clean game…. And State is not a full strength and they played an incredibly sloppy game.
If State can get Fluff and Kamario healthier and for all that is good and holy stop having defensive contributors suffer season ending injuries, I think they can still have a really good year.
They’re just not on the level of the Top 5-10 teams, but I don’t think most really expected them to be…. Heck I think most would’ve pegged State to be 2-3 or 1-4 at this point.
I’ll take 4-1 with four home games left against unranked teams. There’s a very reasonable path for State to get to 8-4 and an outside shot of 9-3 if they can find an upset on the road. That would be an awesome season given what State has gone through since Leach died.

Gotta love the soft Disney/ ESPn coverage on players these days. They hype up their guy, then when he shites his pants in a big game they just point to some bs injury. Never fails. Just refuse to call poor play for what it is.
