Dude was one of my favorite players from another team a few years back. He's been bounced around and cut from like 4 teams. He got cut on Hard Knocks and he was devastated. He kept grinding and it paid off for him.

That was awesome, good job by the coach to praise him in front of the team.

Yea, it’s pretty sweet. He got a bad rap for the tripping call but everything I ever heard about him is he was a gamer and super likable guy.

Yes he is. Met him at Tyler Wilson’s football camp. Went with my buddy and his son and my daughter. His son was an O lineman and they didn’t have any other lineman for him to work against, so he got to go against Big Dan. Beast of a man.

Pittman got emotional talking about him today. Seems like he was one of his favorite players he’s ever coached

Skipper was an awesome Hog. He was so damn big, it always seemed the refs searched him out each game to watch him ever so closely. He was always so much bigger than everyone that he just looked like he was killing folks.

That motherfricker played at Oregon. Ruining good stories with intersectional hustling is basically a requirement for west coast asshats.

Didn’t he get cut fromDetroit on Hard Knocks? Now I want to know what position he played for them.

You gotta like a guy who keeps grinding.

Yeah he was heartbroken when they cut him. I remember him asking "Is there anything I can do?". He ended up signed to the practice squad.

He has been a tackle since like his freshman year at Arky I believe. He got the start at LG due to a bunch of injuries and apparently hasnt played Guard in a long time. I saw another video of the game where he's down field about 15 yards throwing a block for DeAndre Swift for a long run.

I'm glad Dan Campbell and the team gave him some recognition. DC seems like a coach that guys would run through the gates of hell with

And apparently has never shared an NFL field with him as Skipper has only ever appeared in 14 games and none against Armstead's team. So how the frick would he know?

frick him in his pussy. All the black guys in the locker room didn't seem to give a fiddler's frick as they were chanting his name.

He was put on special teams and I think he blocked four kicks.

The tweet is wrong. Skipper played Guard his freshman year along with Denver Kirkland at the other guard spot. Skipper is nearly 7' and Kirkland was 6'5" and about 360, and bounced around the NFL for few years.

The center that year was Travis Swanson, who was the starting Center in Detroit for a few years.

That team also had an NFL QB, NFL kicker, 3 NFL TEs, 2 NFL DL, 2 NFL WRs, an NFL LBer and they won 3 fricking games and went 0-8 in SEC play.

The next year, with even more talent and a top 10 defense nationally, they won 7 games, including a dogshit Texas bowl win over a dogshit Texas team.

To say Bert was a fricking moron is an understatement.

The team also fell into ashes when Sam Pittman left the program...

That 2013 team should have been 6-6, 2014 9-3, 2015 11-1 and 2016 8-4. If Bert had a stronger work ethic then he wouldn't have been fired in 2017.

Arkansas had 24-7 leads on Rutgers, LSU, Missouri and Virginia Tech and lost them in the fourth quarter. Had some double digit leads against the aggies and lost them. He trailed Miss State by one and Arkansas was fourth and short. Instead of letting Brandon Allen win the game for Arkansas, Bert opted for a FG and the kicker was known as a bad kicker. The kick was blocked and Allen scored 7 TDs in that game for nothing.
