This whole big 6 talk is ridiculous. The big 6 aren’t the big 6 anymore
it's only been since 1963 since someone other than a "Big 6" has won the conference.
all 6 have at least 1 Natty in the last 30 years
4 of them have multiple.
everyone else in the conference combined has 2 Natties in that same time frame.

Scenario 1 won't happen, as Texas-Texas A&M is pretty much a Thanksgiving lock.
That leaves LSU with either Arkansas or Oklahoma. I happen to think the conference sent a message these two years putting LSU and Oklahoma on that weekend.
So, my prediction for LSU is Ole Miss, Texas A&M, and Oklahoma. I would prefer to keep Florida and Auburn, but I don't see either happening.
GEAUX TIGERS.

Hmmmm...I don't know. I would think if LSU lobbied hard for Florida over Oklahoma, they would get it.

This part of the puzzle look right to y’all? It does to me.. Are all of these teams happy with this outcome?

OU has no rivalry with Midzou...I would much rather establish an annual Thanksgiving weekend rivalry with LSU
LSU has no rivalry with OU.
I'd rather play Arkansas, Tulane, or A&M on Thanksgiving than OU.

Simple fix to this. Pair OU and Aggy. Then pair LSU and Ole Miss.

Of course LSU gets the shaft. Why not?

Our 3 should be
Alabama
Georgia
LSU
Alabama
Georgia
LSU

Read the article. I just don't get why they want to have an LSU/Oklahoma rivalry. There is no history or anything else of significance there to make it a rivalry.

A&M has a long history with three current SEC schools: Texas, Aky and LSU. Those should be our three.

Try thinking about it logically.
Precedent has already been set.
Take a look at both the 2024 and 2025 schedules for Thanksgiving weekend.
A&M will be playing Texass that weekend. Arkansas will be playing Midzou that weekend.
Think about how TV contracts are structured. What appeals to more eyeballs? LSU vs Tulane, or LSU vs Oklahoma?
Does any of the above make sense to your smooth brain?

I like Arky and Texas for A&M
Not ton of history with A&M v Ole Miss, but at least it’s relatively close by.
Don’t know why LSU - Oklahoma would be a rival though… A&M v LSU has a lot more history
