No Kevin Sumlin?

For some reason, I think this would be a scary good fit for USC

I had the exact same thought, His personality fits perfect for what they need.

Seriously, can't we even get a season out of him before people come calling.

no Gus or Mullen?

list is shite.

I actually think that is a hell of a list. Fleck would be my first call no matter where I was at. For whatever reason, that dude impresses the hell out of me.

And they will name O’Brien head coach just as soon as Alabama is selected for the playoffs continuing that great Bama tradition of going into the natty with a lame duck OC. Sonuvabitch!!

Saban’s coaching rehab center has entered warp speed it seems. Guys are cured after one offseason and two games played.

No one on there would get me excited as a Trojan fan. Maybe Fickel?

If Cambell wants a big job he needs to move on it after this year.

Doesn’t Pete Carroll have some suspension time to serve if he comes back to college?

Not sure I trust Fickell to have a lot of success outside of the midwest? Seems a good coach, but I see him as a tOSU, ND, Wisconsin, etc kind of coach. He's never coached outside of Ohio at all IIRC? Gotta go be able to recruit and win over Cali and other west coast kids quickly to be successful.

Agreed. I think of all the candidates, he seems to have a style that would mesh well there, and he'd be increasing his access to talent levels near exponentially at USC.

Why do message board posters who actually played the game listen to or post sport writers who quit after 6th grade peewee day two practice?

Why? If he has a happy young family, a happy wife with little babies who are smiling, and time to spend with them, frick all that other shite.

I think he likes Iowa State for that reason.

Campbell is that guy for me. He's consistently doing more with less than anyone on the country. I can't imagine what his teams would be like with the built in recruiting at a place like USCw.

Yeah man. Who would want to coach at one of the premier historical programs in CFB in a city like LA?

What a shite job.

Pete Carroll's return to USC would have a huge impact on the game. Might be the end of the Saban dynasty.
