our rape culture. Name one UT athlete convicted of rape. Name one UT athlete who was not suspended from his team when a rape was alleged, until the charges were dropped.

Dropped charges generally come from lacking of evidence not that a rape didn't occur but that the prosecutors didn't have enough evidence to prove it.

First response couldn't be more perfect.
Though to his credit, he didn't actually rape his cousin. He just helped the other guy rape his cousin. No big deal.

Here I was thinking that in the United States of America we were all presumed innocent until we are PROVEN guilty. If there is not enough evidence to prove them guilty, shouldn't we presume that they are innocent?

The legal system does. Whether the rest of us do is entirely a personal choice.

Hard to convict when the entire school is working together to make sure no convictions happen.
Dat rape culture doing work.

Isn't that why it's even a story?

These are allegations is a Federal Title IX civil suit. Literally anything can be claimed in civil suit. Anything. When it comes to proving it in a court of law is when allegations become/stop being the truth. To me what makes UT look bad in this case is, if I recall, was not A.D.Hart accused of similar things while at Fla. State?

Anyone who has ever walked this earth knows that if you get enough people to "lie and deny", that you can overcome the truth........but you just be proud that no one has went to jail over it (yet). Seems like no accusers ever are believed when it comes to football programs, players and coaches. It's as if they ALL lie about whatever they are accusing someone of, and the only truthful people are those that stand to lose the most of the accusations are true.......

Only two? Well, that's okay then. What an honorable program Butch is running.
It wasn't long ago every UT fan I knew was talking about how disgusted they were by the fact that Vanderbilt had two rapists on trial. That scenario didn't include other players assaulting a teammate for helping the victim. It also didn't feature allegations of the coach condemning said teammate as a traitor.
The attitude UT fans have had about this entire situation is a colossal embarrassment to anyone at all affiliated with the university.
