I don't think that is the same thing. Both Texas and LSU compete for national championships and won in the last 20 years.

4&8 are not our rivals. We don't hate them. We are extremely annoyed with and tired of the buzzing gnat.

A&M and Arkansas hate us more than they like themselves. It’s pathetic and only serves to highlight how weak they are.

A&M’s world revolves around us, and it infuriates them that we consider them a much lesser rival than OU.

Texas hates OU with a passion bc they hate our guts too and they have a better program than us. In the end, we respect them as a football rival because we live in reality and we can see their trophy case.

A&M is just our jealous little brother that lives a bitter existence, and we enjoy the spectator sport of watching the constant humiliation of trying to convince themselves and everyone else that they are on our level and aren’t a complete joke.

The responses to Alabama indicate a high degree of caring about Alabama.

LSU was actually an A&M also: Louisiana State University and Agricultural and Mechanical College.
Historically, Texas A&M and LSU have not only been A&M, but also military schools - moreso Texas A&M now. LSU used to have cadets and I believe still offers ROTC.

Interesting tidbit:
Texas A&M and LSU have supplied more officers and generals in all U.S. conflicts than any other universities with the exception of the service academies.

Both schools also have world-renowned schools of veterinary medicine, and LSU boasts the Pennington Biomedical Research Institute. Both schools are in the top-ranked research universities by the Carnegie Institute.

A&M is not very interesting. Why make a dozen unnecessary threads about them everyday? Who is interested is reading the same shite over and over?

Nah, Miss State isn't interesting. A&M is weird, and deserve all the ridicule. However, you'll notice most of the A&M/LSU threads are started by Aggies. we just like to call them out on their bullshite.

OU and texsa is like US and USSR. It's like a cold-war without any non-proliferation/peace talks. In fact, arms proliferation is the name of the game and peace only exists because of mutual deterrence. There is constant monitoring of what the other side has, is saying or doing, and the threat of getting nuked is real.

Also, to my knowledge, there has never been a time where OU and texsa fans have co-existed on a central social platform together like tRant, so this is a first, and it's weird.

The back and forth between texsa and aggot is 100% normal and provides plenty of comedy I must admit. Nothing new under the sun there.

One rivalry has to be played on a neutral site at 11AM equidistant away from both schools for safety reasons. The backdrop is also during the state fair of Texas. All the others do not have that. Hope this clears up which rivalry is legit as the rest are fake.

And yet OU follows Texas everywhere they go, including the SEC.

It was OU that got us into the SEC, dipshit. We maintained the relationships post 2012 that texsa never had with SEC execs. You've had too much aggot prattle blown up your arse and don't know what you're talking about. But hey....it's easy to repeat amirite?

Prior to the big 12, OU was in the Big 8 and texas was in the SWC. They played in separate conferences for nearly 80 years.
