Have y'all heard this rumor that Vanderbilt is trying to play another football game?

Interesting. Don't think even that would work but still very interesting.

That's just insanely stupid. I thought Vanderbilt people were smart?

Florida should take one for the team and play Vandy. Give Summeral a good scrimmage game

Pavia has also reportedly called on Trump to make the playoff committee let Vandy play.

One time when Bama was banned from post season, they scheduled an extra game in Hawaii.

2 times actually (2002, 2003). Was also back when then Iron bowl was played the week before Thanksgiving. So the Hawaii game was played on Thanksgiving weekend.

I say go for it, worst case scenario you have a little buzz around your program for a week.
Should schedule Miami, I bet it draws more eyes than the ACC championship if they could somehow get it broadcast

Not a bad idea. Create your own play-in game.

There is (or was) a rule that said if you played Hawaii at Hawaii during the regular season that you could schedule an extra game (I think at the time the regular season was 11 so you could schedule a 12th game).
Bama took advantage of that and scheduled a game out there a week or two after the Iron Bowl as a substitute for not going to a bowl game.
The late Jim Fyffe was calling that year's Iron Bowl, which Auburn won, and as the clock rolled to 0:00 he said, "Aloha Bama, I'm going to Toomer's Corner."

I think they actually are trying to schedule Miami for this weekend.

The midpoint looks like Valdosta, GA

They already have the V.
Call it a Vandy home game.

I heard Auburn scheduled 7 national championship games and won them, but we don’t know when it happened.

Playing Miami would be pretty genius honestly. I like it. Instead of crying like Sark get on the field and play your way in. Well played
