The player on Texas got paid for his work at mini camp for two teams, so technically he was also on the payroll.

They don’t get paid salary until they make the team. Why you think Pyburn said he was also coming back unless he made a teams original 53 man roster. Chiefs picked him up on waivers so LSU is no longer getting him.

You’re correct. Just because they do it does it mean any particular school has to facilitate their return.

No but one signed a UDFA contract and was paid by a NFL team.

Fair enough. I don’t think it’s a fair analogy though.

I think some things got lost in translation. I was never making any judgments about you or your service specifically, only commenting on a hypothetical. But I can see how my wording may have made it seem otherwise.
