It's because Little Rock sucks.

It's little Rock. At least the hogs won in their own stadium

Its Little Rock for a weekday game. I was surprised there were as many people there as showed up.

Next year will almost certainly be the last year Arkansas plays there.

Its like watching a former great boxer keep trying to fight well past his prime. You remember all the great moments in his career but seeing it come to an end that way is just sad.

What kind of shite program plays games in Little Rock?

Exactly why War Memorial is on the chopping block. The Hogs playing FAMU in Little Rock is equivalent to Georgia playing Mercer in Macon. Razorback stadium is much nicer, and northwestern Arkansas is much more affluent.

I may be off base here, but it was originally to allow more of the state access to games. Southeastern Arkansas is literally 3-400 miles from campus.

Back in the day, LR was the only population center of the state. NWA was small, Razorback stadium was small and it was hard to get to.

That's obviously changed and we're now only clinging to tradition for tradition's sake. I'll miss the WMS games, but it's past time to move on.

word on the street is bad weather kept out of towners from coming. honestly that should be the last game in LR. stadium is a dump especially considering all the money UA is pumping into the one they have on campus.

That old stadium holds 54K. It filled up way more than these pics show eventually and it certainly looked like more than 25K at one point.

As someone who once thought one game should always stay in LR. I couldn't agree more. There needs to be major improvements or a brand new stadium before the Razorbacks play in LR again.
