I don’t expect Misery fans to know what a successful coach looks like.

Yes. The GOAT - John McDonnell

I knew Arky had some stupid amount of success with indoor at one point, and some outdoor. Never really understood why success in one didn’t more closely correlate with the other, but also didn’t put much thought into it.

Didn’t realize so much of it came with one coach.

Truly impressive, but looks like Henry has a shot at surpassing it. No idea how long he will keep going.

As soon as we joined the SEC he ripped off 8 straight NCAA outdoor titles from 92-99. Indoor he won 16 out of 17 titles from 84-2000.

It’s an impressive accomplishment for sure but it’s best to know the facts before jumping the gun.

He left LSU because Skip was as bad an A.D. as he was good as a baseball coach. Money issues aside, after Henry's last NC, Skip didn't even walk down a few floors to shake his hand. This was typical of how Skip treated him as a track & field coach.

How about Ed Orgeron? How he was treated at LSU the last year of his HC job at LSU that now seem to haunt LSU so far for not winning a championship yet with BK as the current HC?

They made him a very rich man. Why does no one want your football coach?

Its impressive but he has 4 shots each and every year. Its about the sane as Texas swimming legend Eddie Reese who got 2 shots every year

I have a degree from LSU. I work with several LSU alums. I know and live around thousands of LSU fans. I have never heard one mention of Pat Henry.

Pathetic.

Mike Holloway has had 14 since 2002. He's been more successful than Henry since he started but Henry's run at LSU will probably not be surpassed.

A@M made an offer LSU refused to match. The AD saw a chance to limit the losses for non revenue producing sport.
