If this was 2005, I think you just put him at safety.
I live Laron Landry as much as any good Tiger fan, but that's ancient history.
You keep him that far away from the line and you take away his greatest gift.
Play him at Jack this weekend and see how bad the lumps are.

Is this the guy with that chain of sit down restaurants in the Midwest? Bc those aren’t the best either tbh. Very mid…

They'll roll the TE or pull a G and constantly run at him and he'll be as helpless as he was vs A&M last season.
With the run scheme State uses, you absolutely have to set the edges and he can't.

Yeah. The secrant on tigerdroppings says that he is a great player and leaves it at that.
Thanks for your input.

5 man front. Perk is the 5th man, and he's on ball.
That'd how the NFL will use him. It's not Perk's fault that LSU doesn't have good enough DB's to play 1-on-1.
Perk's best position just does not work with LSU's personnel or House's defense.

He shouldn't be playing that position anyways. Let him be LSU's Parsons

There are some really good linebackers in the SEC this year.
There are better draft prospects than him, but I’d put Aaron Beasley at Tennessee above them all. He leads the country in tackles for loss and just swallows up plays around the line of scrimmage. He just makes fighting through a blocker and making a tackle look effortless.

Ex Florida LB Tyron Hopper is the best.
Still pissed we let him get away SMH.
