Im sure its already been said, but years ago when arkansas played USC (southern cal) and i think it was on a kickoff. Some arky boy picked up a guy like child and threw him down.

Wish I could find a video clip of it, but John Roper's sack of Tommy Hodson in an LSU-A&M game 25 years ago is stuck in my mind forever.

Dude's nose just gushed blood after that hit.

Story on Roper (hit is mentioned)

Damn that was brutal. Out of all the hits I've seen in this thread the one where neither player played again is the most violent

I don't know, you are the one acting all mad, you tell me.

And then you melted down for some reason...which led me to believe that you are mad.

Odell Beckham Sr. Laying out a Texas A&M player in 1990. I was there and thought he killed him.

#80 (Landry?) on LSU absolutely layed the lumber to AU's Mason on a kick return this past season*.

At work, or I'd link it.

*Mason works out at my gym in the off-season. Good kid. But AU lists him at 5'10/190. Not even close. I'd be surprised if he's over 5'8". And he might be 185.

I also liked the hit that Upshaw did in the Cap One Bowl. He almost took out one of the Alabama players. LINK

Nigel Bradham

This was this past year - Bradham was penalized and thrown out of game, but the ruling was later reversed.

I'm pretty sure you can put the entire LSU-ZONA game from I think 04 on this list. I REALLY felt sorry for those zona boys at the end of the game. That was a skull frick of a game

EDIT: NVM is was 06. 6:42 is probably my favorite hit from that game. Wasn't the hardest..but definitely the coolest

Nobody has mentioned Greg Blue or Thomas Davis

Greg Blue
Blue vs Auburn
8 seconds in

Thomas Davis
Aubies might like this one, considering it was a BVG defense

Reshad Jones
Bitch flags thrown, clean, beautiful hit
vs. LSU

And of course:

could be thinking about the 04 game. I can't remember. I just remember a white Auburn defensive lineman knocking the crap out of LSU's QB. I was a good bit younger, so some of it tends to run together. That said, the 06 was still incredibly violent.

That was Bart Eddins cremating Randall of LSU. Indeed a signature moment in that 2004 season for Auburn. Good clean hit too.
