SEC has 5 of the 12 playoff teams. Next the BIG has 3.

Seems like the SEC is still a big dog to me

They are not beat up and crippled like UGA and Alabama was Saturday night from pounding on and getting pounded on by nfl talent for 4 months. Ohio State claims there last loss to UGA was due to injuries yet they had played NOBODY

Wasn’t that game like three or four years ago? LOL- nobody cares now

As someone who lives in the North, I don't agree with the poster. Yes the BIG has won the last 2 Natties. But people are lying to themselves if they don't admit that the SEC is where the most talent comes from. Florida, Georgia, Texas and Louisiana all have some of the best talent in the nation for high school players. And they probably always will. Yes teams like Ohio State recruit great and the portal has helped a lot of teams be better like Indiana. But you also have to realize that teams like Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan State aren't going to get a lot of the best talent from the South because kids in the South don't really want to go to a college where it snows and is cold every winter. Sure you will have some go but the majority that can't get into Bama, Georgia, Florida or LSU will go to Miss State, Kentucky, and Arkansas. It's no different than if the SEC had hockey teams. The best hockey players will still go to Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, Boston because that is where they are from. Yes as an Ohio State fan, I would cheer for any SEC team or any team to beat Michigan and I always will! It's how I was raised. Yes growing up my family would cheer for Alabama in games and my grandpa was a big Florida fan. If a team wasn't playing against Ohio State than I always enjoyed a great game matchup and it didn't matter what conference they were from. But Never for Michigan!

Ohio State has always been good. They almost never win less than 10. Probably the most consistent program in CFB.

And they have always had soft schedules. Who is their competition? That nail-biter against Grambling was impressive. Michigan? Penn State? Have you looked at the latest rankings? Seven SEC teams in the top 25 CFP rankings. Eight if you look at the AP poll. Go look at the SOS and SOR rankings. OSU down at 28. FOURTEEN SEC teams in the top 25 SOS. Not until Oregon and USC joined has the B10 actually gotten more competitive.
Indiana is a fluke.

SEC was 12-5 against the other big conferences. Big ten 7-5. Big 12 10-6. Other two has losing record. The SEC was still the deepest conference by a significant margin
