There was a birthday bash previously scheduled for this Saturday that I was supposed to be a big part of (no not my BD) until I straightened things out. Now it will be on Sunday afternoon at a less nice venue...but at least my hungover and sunburnt self will be there.

Anyone in the south who will plan a wedding or any kind of annual event during college football season is a narcissist of the worst kind. My niece who is more like a daughter than a niece and I almost fell out over her planning to have her wedding on a game day. Luckily the venue was unavailable for the Saturday so it was on a Sunday or I would have had to miss it.
