Might not ve a terrible idea. Some coaches are better coordinators than head ciaches even if they dont want to admit it and want the hc money

Gus got almost $22M from Auburn and UCF would owe him about $14. $36M to get fired is pretty good. He can't possibly have any incentive to win any longer. He has a ring from Auburn and a truck load of cash. Life is easy for him.

The fact that he hired Ted Roof as DC was stupid. Then Gus pulls a Gus and hands over play-calling duties to the OC.

He flipped flopped between play-calling and CEO coach at Auburn at least 3 times before they paid him $22mm to take a hike.

KJ Jefferson costs another coach his job.

He's a goat recruiter, but he told our most loyal QB (Keene) to take a hike for John Rhys Plumlee, and now KJ Jefferson.

I'm not expecting much this decade, but this season has been abysmal. UF WAS TRASH AND WE PLAYED LIKE A HIGH SCHOOL TEAM!

Gus will be there for another year minimum. Gus knows how to make moves to appease the fanbase for a year at a time. He changed up a lot of things to appease the Auburn fanbase:
Fired Ellis
Hired Muschamp
Hired Steele ( his best move
Gave up playcalling
Got playcalling back
Gave up playcalling again
Allowed QBs to work with personal QB coaches, finally.

He knew how to make storylines smell like roses in the offseason.

Now that Roof's gone maybe he can see if his old pal Gene Chizik has any interest in returning to the coaching box.

Time for the prodigal son to return home!

I'll downvote myself for that one.

No way. Being at Rice wouldn't feed his massive ego.

I could see him going to Tulsa so that he could be 100 miles from Fayetteville and could run his Percy from the Green Mile passive aggressive bitch games against Arkansas from there.

He would personally recruit all the NWA high schools so he could get his ego stroked constantly, folks reinforcing the Poor Little Gus Is a Victim BS and have his dick sucked constantly by the dipshit Arkansas media

Today I learned that KJ Jefferson is still playing college ball. Isn't that guy in his early 30's by now?

Dude had 4 straight top 10 classes at Auburn and some of the highest ranked commits in school history. Landing talent was not his problem most of his tenure. It was retaining & developing it.
