Maybe Barbara Billingsly is needed.

SO what you're saying is AL doesn't have MS St tags when most other border states do?
The only requirement to get a specialized tag in AL is to fill out a request, and get 1000 people to prepay the $50. Once you get to that number, they print the tags.
If there isn't a tag here, it's because your fans didn't ask for one.

I'm from south MS and went to LSU therefore I'm an LSU fan. I hate starkville and Oxford. There to small. I love the size of Baton Rouge and its proximity to NOLA. Plus there always seemed be be a sense of true tradition at LSU.

It is pitiful the number of sidewalk Gumps in MS! Columbus, MS may as well be Columbus, AL.

Actually Starkville isn't that far but to each his own I guess...

I don't have a link, but my wife helped petition for a specialized tag about five years ago. All it took was getting 1000 people to commit to purchasing said tag with a $50 prepayment.
It's probably a similar process in most states. There just needs to be sufficient interest.

yeah, bull shite. Hancock and parts of Harrison County might as well be East Louisiana.

I traveled a lot in MS last year and I swear you would have never known Ole Miss or Miss. St. football existed outside of Starkville and Oxford.
this. I see more Bama/LSU stuff driving through than OM or State.

I had an LSU car tag living in Starkville. The looks I got were . One day Coach Dan Mullen pulled up beside me on Hwy. 12 and he just looked at me...
Growing up in Columbus, Alabama has always been the favorite there, expect for the early 2000s when they stunk. The Alabama fans have greatly reproduced themselves in recent years.

Speak for yourself. Unless you are a LA transplant or have some tie to the school, you are a bandwagon fan plain and simple. I'd be wheeling to bet if OM and MSU switched places with LSU and Bama, your MS pride would kick in. But whatever makes you feel better about yourself.

Are you tards really debating this? Biloxi used to be the capital of LA. It's a very Louisianaque area between the seafood, Saints fandom, coonasses, etc. I'm not saying all of it is like Louisiana, but many tourists visiting NOLA stay in Bay St. Louis and other coastal communities.

Well my dad worked off-shore and didn't really follow CFB and I was raised mainly by my mother who is from Houma, LA and she was a LSU fan growing up.

Nah, probably not. I still would have grown up a Tiger fan because of my mom. It's not like LSU was good when I was growing up as a kid anyways. And I don't what this "my MS pride would kick in" shite is. I have some pride from coming from this state. Sorry I rather go to a school that I actually grew up rooting for and also a school a hell of a lot closer to home as opposed to Starkville or Oxford.

There were a lot of Columbus, MS natives at Alabama when I was a student there. There were at least 3 Phi Mus I knew from Columbus, MS
