Why are there so many? I saw this morning an old beat up f150 with a ms state alum bumper sticker and an alabama sticker, wtf?

They have won 3 of the last 4 natties and by any count the most SEC football championships and MNC. That attracts a lot of sidewalk fans.
Plus Ttown is almost in East Mississippi anyway. In fact MSU and Ttown are the two closest SEC teams to each other.

Bordering state? Bama is badass? Plenty of people go to grad school at alabama after undergrad at msu, and vice versa. MSU is like an hour away from Ttown.

What's really interesting is in Southwest MS here there are alot of sidewalk Bama fans, and this territory might as well be annexed by LA there are so many LSU fans. These people are absolute trash either way, but some aren't and you can't blame them for rooting for better teams. LSU is so popular that up in Brookhaven, MS before fb season they dedicate an entire row at Wal-Mart to LSU merch. It's disgusting and it makes me want to burn the place down, but there's nothing can be done about this oil field trash liking ALE EYES YOUEAUX!!

All of these states have SEC tags, it's no secret.
My neighbor next door has the very first LSU -MS tag. But of course, she is fine as hell and an LSU alum so it's tolerable.
